Given the number of people that were hoped
for, the relief coordinator had five locations ready for us.
We didn't get as many as hoped for, but we were still divided
into five groups to do what we could for each location.

Dressed up and ready to work.
Our group was assigned to help members of the Pee Dee
Baptist Church. Several members of this church had their
homes either destroyed or damaged.
The home we were sent to work at was near the top of the
hill to the right of this trailer. We were working on the
home of the mother of the person who lived here.
This building was to right of the trailer as you head up the
hill.
Hwy 65, a damaged home and van.
Remains of a house.
This is what a lot of it looks like after being cleaned up,
complete clear cutting. Either the trees did the damage
when they fell, or in the process of clearing the trees
everything that was under them got carried away as well.
Just to the left of center you can see the remains of the
foundation of what used to be a house.
Hwy 16 out of Clinton showing the tops of the trees that
were just torn off.
More tree damage. This was the biggest job, clearing
out all the downed trees.
