LDS Disaster Relief October 18, 2005 Dear Helping Hands, We can never express to you our gratitude for all the work that you guys did last Saturday. We had been told that any other groups of helpers would be sent to the gulf coast, so we were very pleasantly surprised when you showed up. My husband Mike has a lot of health problems. Doctors have not been able to get his diabetes or blood pressure under control. his feet are turning black from lack of circulation. He is not able to do much, so the job of cleaning up was overwhelming to us. We were so fortunate not to have damage to our little mobile home and shop next to the house. We are very grateful for that. God bless you for all the service that you have given to us and all others who were affected by Katrina and Rita. Beverly and Mike Long |
